Is the Nagish app easy to set up?
- Patients simply download the app to their smartphone or tablet. Registration takes 90 seconds, after which users can immeadtely place and receive calls using their existing phone number. If the patient’s Bluetooth hearing aids or cochlear implant are already paired with their phone, Nagish will connect to them seamlessly - no extra steps required.
Does Nagish have ads?
- No. Nagish does not display advertisements anywhere in the app.
Why does Nagish ask for my home address and other personal information?
- Nagish is an FCC-certified captioned call service. The addres is used to handle 911 calls, and other information, such as full name, last four digits of SSN, and DOB are required by the FCC. This information is never sold or shared with third parties.
Is my patient’s private information shared with anyone?
- No. Nagish is 100% private.
- Call transcripts are end-to-end secure and are not stored on Nagish's servers beyond the duration of the call.
Is the caller’s voice heard along with captions in real time?
- Yes. Nagish works just like a regular phone call, with the added benefit of real-time captions, so users get the full context of the conversation.
Can non-verbal patients use Nagish?
- Yes! Nagish has a built in keyboard (Nagish IP Relay) that supports real-time typing, instead of speaking. Nagish's AI-powered text-to-speech engine brings a voice for your patients.
Does Nagish require a cellular plan?
- No. Nagish can work either on a cellular network, or via Wi-Fi.
Is Nagish available in multiple languages?

Can the caption size be adjusted for low vision?
